Time to Sort of Relax
After the longest drive I've ever made, going the slowest I've ever had to drive for said distance, coupled with a snowstorm that knocked out power for two days, I'm finally letting myself take a break; be it a small one. It's a break nonetheless.
The family is excited about our new digs. I can't help but agree. We've already engaged in several impromptu snowball fights, done experiments with throwing a snowball in a muddy puddle, and got to see family and friends. Who knew this would happen so fast? Getting set up in our new permanent home, finding the quirks of a small town, and making the time to see people.
The trip probably felt longer because I started it when I was 39 and ended it when I was 40; an affect of having a birthday during a move, but it made it just feel that much longer. The moving truck
